Turns out, he may have some hurdles to contend with before that dream becomes a reality. Meanwhile, Jim Newman, 72, remains hard at work on yet another draft of his Vietnam novel. He thinks he may have had a breakthrough in his writing, and believes his use of marijuana is partly responsible.
